She, is a full-time student and long time lover of fashion who discovered, as so many have, the wonders of fashion blogging.
Tell me more… I’ve naturally always been a writer. English has and will always be my passion, but it would seem in the last few defining years of my life my heart has made room for another, Fashion. I played with the concept of fashion blogging, I thought of names, looked for blogging sites, searched countless fashion blogs for inspiration and found that the only way to really get involved was to start-up my own blog. Scary, worrying and extremely new for me, blogging was my project for the summer of 2010 and a project that paid off. I have a wider idea of what it is to love fashion, and have had to learn lessons such as there is always someone out there who can do what you do that little bit better and that it shouldn’t bring you down. Fashion blogging was one of the best decisions I could have made and sets the stepping stones for a hopefully successful career in the industry so many long to be a part of.
What next? Well, I see myself attending university in Nottingham, my home…at the moment. I’ve applied to study Fashion Communication and Promotion so I can widen my understanding of the industry further than just glossy pages of publications and quirky online blogs and in the words of Anna Wintour, ‘learn my trade’. From then who know’s, I feel the world is my oyster. Cliché’s always make me smile…
