Gushing at the Golden Globes – Best Dressed
This years Golden Globes was slightly disappointing in regards to most of the embarassing fashion blunders revealed on the red carpet. However, in the midst of all those fashion faux pas’ stood those who failed to lose themselves in garish ruffles and crumpled satin and came out on top looking stunning and well put together as we all love to see.
Emma Stone looks elegant in this understated figure-hugging floor length dress. I love the colour on her, because of her paler skin tone this dress shouldn’t work but it does very well. The only thing is I just wish that she still had her beautiful fiery hair as I think the whole look would have looked more dynamic, but regardless Stone has taken top spot this year for me. This just goes to show, less is more and some would have done well to take that advice literally.
Milu Kunis looks demure in this deep emerald one-shoulder silk gown. The detail on the torso and the train of the dress is intricatley made and the colour compliments her tanned complexion perfectly.
Green has clearly been a real hit this year for celebs looking to go glam and Angelina Jolie is not one to back down to a fashion challenge. She is seen here sporting a dramatic shimmering green low-back gown with hubbie Brad looking extra suave in shades conventional black tux.
In my opinion Anne Hathaway rocks what many believe to be an over the top disco ball. Her dress is bold and is well tailored to fit to her shape. I also love the backless feature, not everyone can work a backless dress but those who can always look so glamorous when they do.
Diana Argon looks truly feminine in this nude chiffon gown. When paired with inocent blonde curls and a delicate diamond choker, Argon takes the understated approach and looks beautiful doing it.
